Spend the Night Outside | Experience Nature

Right behind Skarregaard you'll find our large shelter with room for up to 30 people to spend the night. Next to it is a smaller shelter set up by the Danish Nature Agency in conjunction with the Marguerite Route.

In the area you'll also find a large playground that's free to use - at your own risk. There's also a campfire site, also free to use, though you'll have to bring your own firewood.

Guests with pre-bookings have first claim to the campfire site and playground.

If you wish to have a children's birthday party, a family gathering, or similar, we highly recommend pre-booking the area for this reason.

Price per night is DKK 50 per person - whether in the large or the small shelter.

Payment can be made in the shop at Skarregaard - opening hours can be found on the website and outside the shop.

A key to the toilet house can be made available upon your arrival, but only through pre-booking or payment in the shop by Skarregaard. The toilet house contains cleaning supplies for after use. The key must be returned to the shop - or somewhere previously agreed upon if you leave outside the shop's opening hours.

Check-out is at 10 AM the next day.

Pre-booking a shelter is mandatory.

Pre-booking: booking@museummors.dk

If you arrive outside Skarregaard's opening hours, the key can be made available in an agreed upon location.

Water is available from an outdoor faucet at Skarregaard.

After August 31, 2021 - it is no longer possible to book a shelter or the campfire site.

Everyone is welcome to use the area, but access to toilet facilities and the like is not available, and you may have to share the site with others.
