Autumn break at Skarregaard

Open every day during the Autumn break. Tuesday 16th, Wednesday 17th, and Thursday 18th: Additional family activities at the campfire site from 11am to 3pm.

Halloween at Dueholm Monastery

Dueholm Monastery is decorated for a scary Halloween experience. Wednesday 17th, 10am - 9pm: Hunting rats, blind touching, storytelling, and blood poison samples - remember to bring a flashlight. The Halloween parade visits the monastery. At 7pm: Is Dueholm Monastery haunted? Enjoy a walk around the monastery and listen to tales of ghosts, apparitions, and other strange beings from Mors. Thursday 18th, 10am - 4pm: Hunting rats, blind touching, storytelling, and blood poison samples - remember to bring a flashlight. Friday 19th, 4pm - 8pm: Hunting rats, blind touching, storytelling, and blood poison samples - remember to bring a flashlight. Living Zombie museum at Dueholm Monastery !

The local history annual review is released with a number of new texts about Mors - only in Danish.

Christmas market at Skarregaard

The annual Christmas market at Skarregaard, both days from 10am - 4pm Admission: DKK 50 ; free for Friends of the Museum and children under 18.

Presentation about the archaeological finds on Mors 2018

Archaeologist, ph.d. Niels Algreen Møller, curator at Museum Thy, visits Museum Mors to give a presentation about the new archaeological digs and finds on Mors in 2018. Like the toys in the Hans Christian Andersen fairytale "The Top and the Ball" are able to speak, so do the toys at Dueholm Monastery have stories to share. The stories are about Christmas, shining eyes, and the good old days. Guide: Mette Elimar Jensen.

Presentation: "Cancer rebellion on Mors" - When the people on Mors wanted to give doctor Nordentoft a quantity of radium for his 50th birthday

Come hear the tale of when doctor Nordentoft and the people of Mors fought for better cancer treatments on Mors in the 1930s. Learn about the lengthy conflict with the organisation Against Cancer, the local cancer organisation, and a joint collection from all over Mors to fight cancer. It's a presentation by historian Camilla Andersen. (In Danish) Admission: DKK 30 ; Free for Friends of the Museum. Place: Dueholm Monastery. Limitied places. This is the very last chance to see the special exhibit about the Sallingsund bridge and its 40th anniversary.
