Exhibitions at the Foundry Museum
The Foundry Museum covers nearly 1,500 m², showcasing cast iron products and telling the story of one of Scandinavia’s largest iron foundries.
The museum is spread over two floors. On the ground floor, you can learn about the fascinating history of Morsø Iron Foundry from 1853 to the present day. The company’s story is presented through text, photos, and film.
The upper floor is dedicated to the many remarkable products Morsø Iron Foundry has produced over the years. Here, you can see Denmark’s largest exhibition of tiled and wood-burning stoves.
Returning to the ground floor, you are guided through the production of the factory’s products, while also learning about the many different types of workers who have been part of the foundry over the years.
The ground floor also hosts the museum’s changing special exhibitions.
